The Government Accountability Office (GAO) has completed a review that identifies that, even if the US Navy has already taken initial steps to rebuild military readiness, years of sustained attention will be required in order to fully overcome the challenges.

Twelve Indians were rescued from a sinking vessel in the Persian Gulf by a French Navy ship on November 20. Six Royal Navy sailors from the UK's newest and largest aircraft carrier 'HMS Queen Elizabeth', have been arrested Wednesday in Florida, allegedly over drinking and misbehaving in public. HMS Queen Elizabeth set sail from Portsmouth on its first transatlantic voyage on 18 August.

Hellenic Coast Guard was mobilized to provide assistance to tourists and local residents who were trapped on smoke-covered beaches, waiting for boats to rescue them, after an apocalyptic fire erupted in coastal regions near Athens, killing over 50 people. 

The video depicts the German frigate 'Sachsen' suffering a missile explosion last week, during a training exercise off Norway, which resulted in minor injury of two crew members. 'FGS Sachsen' was operating with 'FGS Lübeck' near the Arctic Circle when it attempted to fire a Standard Missile 2 Block IIIA as part of the exercise.

The UK Royal Navy received an autonomous minesweeper system that can safely clear sea lanes of mines, Defence Minister Guto Bebb has announced. After successful trials the demonstrator system could go on to be used by the Royal Navy in the future to defeat the threat of modern digital mines.

The Chinese Military informed on March 23, that the Chinese Navy will conduct combat drills in the waters of the South China Sea soon. The Chinese Navy also said that these drills don't aim a specific target or country. This is a routine arrangement within the PLA Navy's annual plan and it aims to test and improve the troops' training level, said the PLA Navy's Staff Department, adding that it is not aimed at any specific country or target.
