The Royal Canadian Navy is testing a Mixed Reality Remote Assistant Support (MIRRAS) system, as part of a project that aims to improve maintenance and repairs aboard active naval vessels, provided by Kognitiv Spark. This technology will be used by the Navy's technicians and weapons engineering technicians.

The Taiwanese navy will seek compensation after a Saudi Arabian-flagged oil/chemical tanker 'NCC Sama' hit one of its frigates, in the harbor of Keelung in the morning hours of Saturday. The NCC Sama was entering port at 1:30 a.m. Saturday, when it hit the 'Ning Yang' frigate FF-938 in the middle of its port side.

Members of the Argentine Naval Prefecture (PNA), aboard the Coast Guard cutter 'Mantilla' fired upon a Chinese fishing vessel which was caught fishing illegally within the country's Exclusive Economic Zone, about 199 nautical miles from the San Jorge Gulf, and tried to collide with Mantilla.

The Australian Royal Navy has deployed its Laser Airborne Depth Sounder (LADS) Flight to Invercargill in New Zealand, to undertake survey operations over Macquarie Island, a 34km long World Heritage listed island that lies approximately halfway between Australia and Antarctica.

Singapore's Minister for Defence, Dr. Ng Eng Hen, inaugurated the launch ceremony of the Singapore Navy (RSN)'s first Invincible-class submarine, the 'Invincible' at the thyssenkrupp Marine Systems Shipyard in Kiel, Germany, on 18 February.

Indonesian Navy divers have found a cockpit voice recorder from the Lion Air plane that crashed into the sea off Jakarta on October 29, 2018. After the accident, an underwater search was conducted, involving 30 divers. The divers found the recorder under 26 feet of mud, in approximately 100 feet of water by using a 'ping locator'.
