Peninsula Petroleum announced the start of the initial stage of a new physical operation in Los Angeles / Long Beach. The operation will consist of a strategic storage facility as well as a dedicated barge fleet and is expected to become fully active by January 2018.
Peninsula chose Los Angeles / Long Beach as its next expansion area because it is considered a very important operations hub for a lot of operators.
In particular, physical capability in Los Angeles / Long Beach strengthens a regionally integrated supply solution on the Pacific Coast connecting with the long established and successful Panama operation.
The operation will be managed by an experienced team headquartered in Houston.
