The crew of the ferry “Ag. Nektarios” rescued a woman who was spotted five nautical miles off the port of Piraeus. The woman was transported to a hospital, where she is currently being treated, as she was in shock.
According to the Greek news agency, it is not known how the woman ended up in the sea. However, her health is good, despite being in shock.

As the Coast Guard noted, the woman was rescued and then transported to the port of Piraeus, from were she was taken to the hospital.
The ferry “Ag. Nektarios” had started from the Port of Piraeus, heading to the island of Aegina, when it spotted the woman on the water.
