The ferry Nissos Samos, with 332 passengers and more than 200 vehicles on board, drifted aground in Chios harbor, Greece, on May 19.
Information from local media reports that the ferry failed to moor on arrival from Piraeus due to strong wind, and had to drop anchor.
However, a littler later it drifted aground in harbor.
After four and a half hours, the ferry was refloated with tug’s assistance, and has been safely berthed.
Nissos Samos will now undergo inspection before being allowed to resumed its scheduled voyage.
