The weather service provider, StormGeo along with the Norwegian classification society, DNV GL shake their hands and inked an MoU in order to further develop digitalization and accelerate maritime data sharing within the maritime community.
Through their collaboration, both sides goal to boost the presence of StormGeo’s fleet performance management and weather intelligence solutions on DNV GL’s independent data platform, Veracity.
In fact, they aims to give customers of StormGeo, enhanced services while support them to optimize the operations of their fleet.

At the same time, Veracity users will be benefited from the integration of StormGeo’s weather intelligence services, accessed by the Veracity Marketplace.
StormGeo is an important supplier to many of Veracity’s customers and we have received interest from our clients for stronger integration with StormGeo in our platform products. Concluding, the MoU is based on both partners’ agreement back in March 2019, when DNV GL and StormGeo announced that they would consolidate their fleet performance solutions under the StormGeo banner.
