The American P&I Club is further extending the validity PEME certificates to January 15, 2021 for seafarers originating from Bulgaria, India, Indonesia, Latvia, Philippines, Poland, Romania, the Russian Federation and Ukraine.
The extension is valid for those who:
1) currently hold valid American Club PEME certificates which have expired, or which are due to expire prior to March 1, 2021; and
2) are currently deployed onboard a vessel entered for P&I cover with the Club.

This comes amid restricted crew mobility due to COVID-19 and follows a previous extension announced in October.
