Marine carriage of nurdles will be regulated

IMO tackles with Arctic Black Carbon and Volatile Organic Compound emissions 

The IMO Sub-Committee on Pollution Prevention and Response (PPR 10), that took place 24-28 April 2023, focused on ways to reduce shipping emissions, among other issues. In particular, IMO discussed about measures to reduce the impact on the Arctic of Black Carbon emissions. With regards to Volatile Organic Compound (VOC) emissions, the Sub-Committee agreed a draft scope of work for submission to MEPC 80.
