DNV GL announced that Samsung Heavy Industries (SHI) INTELLIMAN Ship software is compliant with the EU-MRV and IMO-DCS regulations. The INTELLIMAN Ship is a smart ship solution, aiming to facilitate data management from fleet operation to life-cycle service.
The INTELLIMAN Ship aspires to enable better data management from fleet operation to life-cycle service both on shore and on board with ICT in a cloud data center developed by Samsung Heavy Industries.

In addition, the EU-MRV and IMO-DCS software in INTELLIMAN Ship targets to respond to CO2 emission reduction regulations. EU-MRV and IMO-DCS became effective in January 2018 and January 2019 respectively.
We have developed effective solutions for meeting demands of maritime environmental regulations through collaboration with DNV GL. We will continue to focus on developing safe and environmentally friendly smart ships

DNV GL assessed the compliance of the INTELLIMAN Ship software with the EU-MRV and DCS regulations, including the related standard templates, by remotely testing the monitoring-reporting process regarding both content and functionality.
Moreover, DNV GL confirmed that the software can be used as a recording and reporting tool, meeting the requirements of the EU-MRV and DCS regulations, and can be applied to all ship types built at the SHI shipyard.
