Thun Tankers has taken delivery of the Thun Resource, the first of eight eco-friendly vessels in its “Resource Efficient Class” series.
According to the company, Thun Resource features a series of eco-friendly technologies aiming to reduce the vessel’s emissions. These technologies include adaptive propulsion, energy-efficient design, shore electricity connection readiness, a UPS battery pack, and the latest hull design and machinery.

The product tanker is now under a long-term employment agreement with Nynas AB and will be technically managed by MF Shipping Group.
