The FPSO ONE GUYANA project vessel successfully entered drydock at the Keppel yard in Singapore last week.
The FPSO (Floating production storage and offloading) is being constructed for ExxonMobil Guyana and will join three other SBM Offshore-constructed FPSOs, Liza Destiny and Liza Unity, in Guyanese waters as well as Prosperity currently in transit to Guyana.
Oil separation, gas injection, and produced water treatment are expected to be performed by the FPSO. With a maximum oil production capacity of 250,000 barrels per day (bpd), it will start operating in 2025. It will also have the ability to store two million barrels of crude oil, treat 450 million ft3 of gas per day, and inject 300,000 bpd of water.
The project team will continue construction with next steps being installation of the mooring structures and riser balcony. The topsides construction is progressing as per project schedule.
