The Transportation Safety Board of Canada (TSB) will be using a team of investigators to Vancouver Harbour, British Columbia, after a collision between the M.V. Caravos Harmony and the M.V. Pan Acacia took place on March 17.
The two bulk carriers collided at Vancouver Harbour, British Columbia, on March 17, at about 00:20 local time, TSB informed.
It did not reveal any further information regarding the damages, injuries or pollution, but it said that it will gather information and assess the incident.
According to AIS data from the ships, ‘Caravos Harmony’ had arrived from Tacoma, Washington, while ‘Pan Acacia’ arrived from China on March 13.
Currently, both ships remain at anchor in Vancouver.
