Terntank has named its 15,000 dwt hybrid tankers M/T Tern Land and M/T Tern Vik on 21 March at China Merchants Jinling Shipyard in Yangzhou.
As announced, during the ceremony, onboard tours were conducted to showcase the technology integrated into the vessels. These include features such as wind-assisted propulsion system and methanol-ready engines. Additionally, the vessels are equipped with hybrid battery systems and includes shore power connectivity.

To remind, Terntank has also ordered an oil and chemical tanker featuring wind-assisted propulsion and a dual-fuel engine capable of using MGO, biofuels, and methanol, scheduled for delivery for Q1 2027.
