A platform introduced by DNV GL provides the industry with the possibility of evaluating the uptake of alternative fuels and technologies. In this context, the Alternative Fuels Insight (AFI) platform seeks to help shipowners and other maritime stakeholders to monitor the global uptake of alternative fuels and assess the best options for vessels.
The platform namely provides freely accessible tools for visualising and analysing high-quality data, aiming to improve transparency for maritime authorities and intelligence for equipment suppliers.
