NTSB Training Center
The National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) is offering four investigative courses and one focused on disaster response/family assistance at the NTSB’s Training Center near Washington, DC, in August and September.
The courses include:Helicopter Accident Investigation,Aircraft Accident Investigation,Marine Accident Investigation,Transportation Disaster Response: Family Assistance andInvestigating Human Fatigue Factors.
Marine Accident Investigation (Sept. 22-26) details how to investigate major marine accidents, including the processes of gathering, examining and analyzing a wide range of information relevant to a comprehensive investigation.

Investigating Human Fatigue Factors (Sept. 29-30) provides participants with information and guidance to evaluate the role human fatigue plays in an accident sequence, including whether it was causal or contributing. Case studies and hands-on exercises will demonstrate the concepts discussed in the classroom.
