Danish shipping company, Maersk, announced that it will lay off staff from its main offices in Denmark and more countries, in efforts in reducing costs in its head office functions, as Reuters reports.
Specifically, Maersk’s announcement does not have additional information, concerning the number of employers that are being laid off.
Yet, the news follow two recent leaves that Maersk announced the previous weeks.
Accordingly, Carolina Dybeck Happe, Maersk’s CFO, departed the company 11 months after she started working there. Similarly, a bit earlier, Maersk’s Chief Operating Officer, Søren Toft announced his departure from the company, looking for new opportunities.
