According to various reports, Ukrainian forces hit the occupied port of Berdyansk with repeated drone strikes, resulting in unspecified damage.
It is reported that Berdyansk port facilities were targeted, and at least six buildings, mostly in the port area, have been damaged. Local residents reported explosions in the port area on early morning of 31 October, accompanied by the sound of Russian air defenses.
Moreover, ambulance activity was also reported near the seaport, and Russian occupation authorities advised residents to remain at home and avoid travel. According to the reports, a Russian-appointed official has confirmed the attack.
However, there are conflicting reports on the number of drones that were deployed and the exact extent of the damage that they caused.
Furthermore, per the reports, local authorities have stated that three individuals were hospitalized with varying degrees of injury and that local operations at municipal bodies and schools have been suspended.
