The captain of a Lithuanian-owned general cargo vessel has been fined DKK 10,000 ($1,300) in Denmark due to a double grounding.

More specifically, the Latvia-flag Troubadour got stuck twice on October 19, near the Ramso lighthouse en route to Nakskov.

After that, a duty officer at the Defence Operations Centre told that an environmental response ship went to the scene to check for the possibility of any pollution.

According to information, the ship reportedly grounded to the south of the lighthouse.
