The Greek-flagged tanker ”Efesos” collided with a fishing vessel off Adana, Turkey. First information reports that 4 crew from the fishing vessel have lost their lives, while another person is missing.
According to the Hellenic Coast Guard, the collission took place on 4:52 am off Adana, with 4 people losing the lives, and one missing.
Curently, a search and rescue mission is under way to rescue five peope that were on the sea.
The tanker had 27 crew onboard at the time of the incident.
Reporting on the incident, Anadolu news agency informs that the Turkish fishing vessel has been turned around.
