The US Coast Guard Marine Safety Center issued its 43rd BWMS Type Approval Certificate to UK-based manufacturer Evoqua Water Technologies Limited.
The approval came after a detailed review of the manufacturer’s type approval application determined the system met the requirements of 46 CFR 162.060.

As explained, the treatment principle of the SeaCURE BWMS consists of filtration and electrolysis during uptake and neutralization at discharge. This approval covers 12 models with maximum treatment-rated capacities between 500 m3/h and 6,000 m3/h.

Ltd., BAWAT A/S, NKBMS Co. Ltd, Techcross, Inc., Kuraray Co., Ltd., oneTank, LLC, Elite Marine, Panasonic Environmental Systems & Engineering Co., Ltd., Alfa Laval Tumba AB, Kurita Water Industries, Ltd., SKF Marine GmbH and Wuxi Brightsky Electronic Co., Ltd. have won the USCG type approval.
