Two bulk carriers, ‘Spring Snow’ and ‘Klima’, collided on 4 July within Singapore port waters. The incident took place while the two vessels were performing bunkering operations. The damages to ‘Spring Snow’ are not known, while ‘Klima’ sustained hull breach in the cargo hold area, as well as water ingress.
As local media report, the two bulkers collided as they were conducting bunkering operations.
More specifically, Singapore-flagged bunker tanker ‘Libra’ was alongside Klima, while ‘Spring’ was in a bunkering operation with Spring Snow.
After the collision, the bunkering vessel Spring did not suffer any damage, while damages to ‘Spring Snow’ are unknown as well.
Nevertheless, ‘Klima’ sustained hull breach in the cargo hold area, with a video depicting water ingress.
