As the British Government informed today (June 11), three Iranian vessels tried to block the passage of a ship, called 'British Heritage', through the Strait of Hormuz. However, the Iranian ships backed down after warnings from a British warship. The warship 'HMS Montrose' got between the Iranian vessels and 'British Heritage', while it issued verbal warnings to the Iranian ships.

According to the UK Government, Maritime Minister, Nusrat Ghani, announced £40,000 of funding for expanding the 'Why Shipping Matters' programme during a lesson at St Peter’s London Docks Primary School on July 9 July. The funding will allow the lessons to be developed for use in secondary schools.

The Innovation Hub consists of a number of organisations including Port of Tyne, PD Ports, Nissan, Connected Places Catapult, Accenture, Royal HaskoningDHV and Ubisoft.
