Committed to a cleaner future, the global shipping industry developed an exclusive new programme named as ‘Making Waves: The Future of Shipping’.
Launched at the International Maritime Organization during London International Shipping Week 2021, the programme charts the sector’s rapid progress in innovation – from alternative fuels to new technologies, and gives voice to those calling for increased regulation in order to deliver a sustainable future.
“It’s inspiring to see the UK shipping community pulling together to embrace the challenges and opportunities we face in reducing emissions. We are excited to embark on this partnership with ASN Media to champion the successes and untold stories that demonstrate our industry’s shared ambition to take action on climate change and protect the environment.”…Peter Aylott, Director of Policy, UK Chamber of Shipping said.
As informed, Making Waves: The Future of Shipping showcases the collaborative efforts already in place across the maritime industry, and provides a much needed platform for the exchange of ideas and best practice in order to achieve a greener, cleaner future.
