The Port Authority of Valencia and Hamburg Port Authority signed an agreement for the development of hydrogen projects.
These projects will be applied in the maritime sector, in line with the partners’ commitment to fight climate change.
According to the agreement, both ports will work together on projects around the generation of hydrogen, storage stations, use of hydrogen in terminals and machinery, and supply and transport to the hinterland.
The collaboration between the two ports also aims to involve their port and logistics communities to adopt competitiveness and innovation.
The Port of Valencia and Hamburg have been involved in hydrogen initiatives for years and have been sharing their experience in reducing emissions in the past. The agreement represents a step further in their collaboration
