MOL has established the ‘MOL Group Safety Vision’ as a fundamental framework for safety across the organization.
This Safety Vision is integral to the management plan ‘BLUE ACTION 2035‘ and aligns with the group values outlined in ‘MOL CHARTS’. According to the company, safety is a key aspect of MOL Group’s responsibilities as a global social infrastructure company, and the Safety Vision aims to support both ‘Safety & Value’ and the ‘S (for Safety)’ element in ‘MOL CHARTS’.

The Safety Vision comprises a roof section outlining safety goals and ideals, supported by pillars and foundations that represent the actions taken, including safety measures and infrastructure.

Furthermore, to measure safety performance, MOL has established key performance indicators (KPIs) in addition to the existing “4 ZEROS” safety operation KPI. The “4 ZEROS” include zero serious marine incidents, zero oil pollution, zero fatal accidents, and zero serious cargo damage. The new KPIs focus on assessing the results of the Safety Action, with specific metrics for safety goals and the desired state.
