Based on feedback from Airlines and Ground Handling Agents (GHAs) and observation from Changi Airport Group (CAG), most of the crew bound for Philippines were not aware that they had to complete the necessary e-health declaration (i.e. One Health Pass) before check-in.
As majority of seafarers arrive in groups at the same time and proceed to the check-in counters without completing the One Health Pass, CAG informs that there have been a significant increase in the clearance time taken for check-in.
The GHAs would often have to step away from the check-in counters to provide instructions on the necessary documentation needed and assist seafarers, which in turn leads to a longer clearance time for other passengers
…says CAG on its website.
As such, CAG would like to seek industry help once again to reminder the seafarers:
#1 Complete the One Health Pass declaration in advance in accordance with the specific instruction i.e. 3 days before flight departure day; and
#2 Have proof (readily available) of confirmed hotel booking if applicable.
