In the aftermath of Storm Pia, Danish beaches are currently undergoing a comprehensive cleanup operation following the loss of numerous containers from a Maersk container ship at sea, before Christmas.
As a consequence of this incident, debris has been discovered along the shoreline of Denmark’s North Sea. Maersk has launched an investigation into an incident that took place following the departure of one of their vessels from Bremerhaven, Germany. The company estimates that at least 40 containers were lost overboard.
Furthermore, authorities have issued a crucial warning regarding the presence of floating containers and debris in the North Sea.
