After getting hit by a cyber-attack, CMA CGM announced that all communications are now secure, including emails, transmitted files and electronic data interchanges.
In addition, all of the company’s agencies as well as its back-office are now fully operational.

After getting hit by a cyber-attack on September 28, several of the company’s websites went down. What is more, CMA CGM also believes that it may have suffered a data breach.
As it was later revealed, the ransomware Ragnar Locker caused the cyber-attack, which took two weeks for CMA CGM to resolve.
CMA CGM is not the first container shipping ling getting hit by a cyber-attack. Namely, companies such as Maersk, MSC and Cosco, have all experienced similar inicdent in recent years.
