After getting hit by a cyber-attack on September 28, several of the company’s websites went down. What is more, CMA CGM also believes that it may have suffered a data breach.
As it was later revealed, the ransomware Ragnar Locker caused the cyber-attack, which took two weeks for CMA CGM to resolve.
CMA CGM is not the first container shipping ling getting hit by a cyber-attack. Namely, companies such as Maersk, MSC and Cosco, have all experienced similar inicdent in recent years.
