On 28th July, the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) detained bulk carrier with 24kgs of cocaine, at Lagos, Nigeria.
In particular, its crew comprising 20 individuals, including the Master, are imprisoned.
The vessel detained till August 17, 2023,
The vessel reached Brazil on 4 July and will be under detention until the completion of the examination.
However, no details were shared about the site where the drugs were found or whether or not the crew members may have been involved.
