A global marine claim management company reported that the bulk carrier ANGLO MARIE LOUISE suffered from an explosion in its cargo hold on 27 November.
As reported, at the time of the incident, the vessel was located 150 nautical miles east of the North Carolina coast in the United States. Initial reports suggest that the explosion caused damage to the vessel’s No. 1 and No. 2 cargo hatches.
Despite this, the ship was still able to continue its journey and made its way Chesapeake Bay, United States.
