A general cargo ship struck one of its sister vessels, owned by the same company, while maneuvering at Taganrog Port, Russia, Azov sea, in the morning hours of 7 July.
According to information provided by local authorities, the general cargo ship SV KNYAZ VLADIMIR was proceeding to berth at around 11:30 local time, when it lost control and hit the general cargo ship RUSICH 6.

There were no injuries reported, but the hull of RUSICH 6 was breached in portside cargo holds area as a result. An investigation is underway by Rostov Transport Investigation Department to determine the exact causes of the incident.
