In the afternoon hours of Thursday, the Port of Rotterdam welcomed the giant green container vessel ‘Ever Glory’, Evergreen’s first ever 20,000 TEU class container ship to be equipped with scrubbers, significantly reducing harmful emissions.
The ship called at the ECT Delta Zuid terminal at Amazonehaven in Rotterdam, during its maiden voyage on 13 June.
To emphasize this environmentally-friendly measure, the outside of the vessel has been fully stowed with green Evergreen containers; a unique image in the Port of Rotterdam.
