Watch: Cargo vessel crashes on pier in Barranquilla, Colombia

General cargo ship ‘Murueta’ collided with pier at around on January 16, while berthing at Sociedad Palermo, Barranquilla, Colombia. Both the ship and pier sustained damage.

The cargo vessel ‘Murueta’ collided with pier at approximately 11.40 while it was entering at Sociedad Palermo berth. The vessel’s portside hull was damaged because of hitting the pier, along with the portside anchor that torn off.

‘Murueta’ vessel voyaged from Netherland Antilles with cargo of salt to Barranquilla.
