A boat with four people onboard slammed into a jetty near Port Everglades on Tuesday, and were immediately taken to the hospital for precautionary reasons, with reports stating that they had difficulty in navigating the vessel in the dark.
Specifically, the boat landed on the rocks. Local sources inform that the two women and two men onboard the vessel were transmitted to the hospital.
When the respondents arrived at the scene of the accident, they found a woman having been ejected from the boat after the crash, landed on rocks.
Broward Sheriff Fire Rescue Battalion Chief Kyle Vanbuskirk commented that all four people on board were fortunate of not having been severely injured. He added that this kind of accident, where high rate of speed or any type of sudden stop into a jetty on the water, makes the situation far more complicated in case of an accident.
