In order to better recognize the companies, operators and vessels that have earned the E-Zero designation on their QUALSHIP 21 certificate, USCG informed that it will periodically publish the names of the latest vessels to earn the E-Zero designation.
The E-Zero program is a new addition to the QUALSHIP 21 program, and the intent of this program is to recognize any vessel that has consistently adhered to environmental compliance, while also demonstrating commitment to environmental stewardship.
The QUALSHIP 21 program aims to recognize foreign ships that have demonstrated the highest commitment to comply with US and international safety, security and environmental regulations.
Since USCG’s last E-zero, on November 24, 2017, the following vessels have earned an E-Zero designation:
