Singapore Polytechnic and Vopak announced that they have signed a Memorandum of Understanding to collaborate on equipping the faculty members of the Singapore Maritime Academy with the knowledge and skills in the safe handling of new marine fuels.
In a social media post, Vokap highlighted that this partnership taps into Vopak’s existing expertise in the safe handling of these new marine fuels, including ammonia, biofuels, and methanol, to design a curriculum tailored to equip maritime professionals with the necessary skills for a more sustainable future.
This collaboration not only reinforces our commitment to maritime safety, but also drives Singapore’s journey towards becoming a sustainable multi-fuels hub.
