Three men were rescued by the coastguard after a collision between a fishing vessel and a tanker near Ardrossan and Arran, North Ayrshire, Scotland.
The incident occurred around 4 pm on Thursday April 25. Thankfully, none of the men sustained injuries, despite the fishing boat sinking after the collision. As informed, the Royal National Lifeboat Institution (RNLI) deployed lifeboats from its Arran and Troon stations to rescue the men, who were then transferred to the Scottish Ambulance Service (SAS) for care.

Police Scotland and the Marine Accident Investigation Branch have been informed of the collision, and investigations will likely follow to determine the cause and prevent future accidents.
