Recently, ABS celebrated an unprecedented third year of zero lost time work-related incidents. This historic achievement establishes ABS as an industry safety leader. In fact, the Lost Time Incident Rate (LTIR) at ABS has remained at 0.00 throughout 2017, 2018 and now 2019, underscoring ABS’ industry-leading safety performance.

The Canadian offshore regulator, the Canada-Newfoundland and Labrador Offshore Petroleum Board (C-NLOPB), recently informed that Suncor Energy has been given a safety order following an investigation of an incident on the Terra Nova FPSO.

The Canada-Newfoundland and Labrador Offshore Petroleum Board (C-NLOPB) issued a notice of non-compliance and an order to suspend production-related operations on the Terra Nova Floating, Production, Storage and Offloading (FPSO) vessel, operated by Suncor Energy about 350 kilometres east of St. John’s.

During the first SAFETY4SEA Forum in Manila, Leo M. With the drowning rates in New Zealand remaining increased, New Zealand’s first Water Safety Month "a Safer Boating Forum" initiative, call people to be fully aware and pay attention when in, on and around the water. Specifically, the Water Safety Month started on 18 October and until now seven people have lost their lives due to drowning.
