Keppel Offshore & Marine informed that it has made full payment of the fines and damages worth around $65m to Brazil under a leniency agreement that had been set out in December 2022.

Keppel Offshore & Marine's wholly-owned subsidiary, Keppel Shipyard Ltd, has received the Final Notice to Proceed from Gimi MS Corporation, a subsidiary of Golar LNG Limited, to begin full conversion works for the Gimi Floating Liquefaction Vessel project. The total contract is worth US$947million and builds on the issuance of the Limited Notice to Proceed on 17 December 2018.

The joint venture between Keppel Offshore & Marine Ltd and Shell Eastern Petroleum highlighted the completion of its 100th LNG bunkering operation at the Port of Singapore. According to FueLNG, these operations have occurred with no loss-time incidents and in accordance with the Technical reference (TR) 56 standard for LNG bunkering in Singapore.

DNV GL and Keppel Marine and Deepwater Technology, a subsidiary of Keppel Offshore & Marine, signed a framework agreement to advance the uptake of LNG as ship fuel. The agreement regards future newbuilding projects including LNG bunker vessels, small-scale LNG carriers and floating storage regasification units, as well as LNG related assets employing battery and hybrid technologies.

The Maritime Port Authority of Singapore signed a MoU with Keppel Offshore & Marine and the Technology Centre for Offshore and Marine, Singapore, to jointly develop autonomous vessels for a variety of operations, including channeling, berthing, mooring and towing operations.
