Pacific Green Technologies (PGT) announced that Scorpio Bulkers has exercised options to install PGT’s ENVI-Marine system of additionally nine vessels that are either owned or managed by the shipping company.
Mainly, according to PGT the price of the ENVI-Marine system for the vessels is being calculated, according to gas flow volumes under the terms of the Framework Agreement.
Moreover, sale and purchase agreements are under preparation, whereas the Company will make a further announcement when these have been executed together with contract pricing details.

In the first days of April 2019, Scorpio bulkers announced the agreement of $41 million to finance scrubbers. Specifically, the company had reached agreements with various lenders to increase some of the current credit facilities for the installation of exhaust gas cleaning systems (scrubbers) on certain of its ships.
In the meantime, Okeanis Eco Tankers Corp has secured commitment to a $11 million secured loan facility for its scrubber retrofit project from BNP Paribas. Following, Torm installs scrubbers on its tankers, aiming to have installed scrubbers to half of its fleet.
