SAIC Group has officially welcomed and named the largest LNG dual-fuel car carrier in the world, SAIC Anji Sincerity.
Constructed by CSSC Jiangnan Shipyard, the vessel, with 7,600 parking spaces, is the world’s largest LNG dual-fuel ro-ro ship. As informed, SAIC Anji Shipping will operate the vessel, starting next year, on international routes to Europe, Australia, and New Zealand.
The vessel is designed with a total length of 199.9 meters, a width of 38 meters, a depth of 15.5 meters, a structural draft of 10.2 meters, and a service speed of 19 knots. It also has a deadweight tonnage of 13,100 tons, and 13 cargo decks including four movable decks.
Furthermore, SAIC Motor plans to launch 12 new ocean vehicle carriers from 2024 to 2026, expanding its ocean-going fleet. The company will collaborate with domestic and foreign logistics firms like China COSCO Shipping Group and WWL to promote global expansion of Chinese self-owned vehicle brands.
