Russia denied reports by media that an explosion took place in Fokino in the Primorye Region during an operation to unload torpedoes and mines from an anti-submarine warfare ship.
According to TASS news agency, the Russian Ministry said that the information published has nothing to do with reality. As it explained, there were no incidents with the maintenance of the armament of the Pacific Fleet’s ships and vessels.
The reports by the media claimed that a fire broke out and a derrick boom hit the ship’s side, adding that seven people were allegedly hurt in the incident.
