The shipping industry is only three days apart from the Ballast Water Management Convention entering into force on 8 September. That being said, some Administrations have issued circulars to inform their position on recoupling the IOPP Certificate Renewal Survey.
The circulars (see below) aim to clarify requirements for re-coupling the decoupled IOPP Certificate Review Survey, where IOPP renewal survey was completed before 8 September 2014 and its next renewal survey was completed independently from other certificates on or after 8 September 2014.
