On 21 May 2019, after formal approval by the relevant competition authorities, PSA International (PSA), the Polish Development Fund (PFR) and the IFM Global Infrastructure Fund (GIF), have completed the transaction to jointly acquire DCT Gdańsk, the largest container terminal in Poland.

Namely, container volumes handled by the terminal have grown continuously over the years, eventually reaching 1.9 million TEUs in 2018.
Currently, the terminal has a quay length of 1,306 meters and a maximum depth of 17 meters. It is already undergoing expansion, which will be finalized during 2019 and 2020.
The consortium partners aim to further enhance the terminal’s position and to look into more expansion needs as and when relevant.
