Focus on biofuels, bioenergy and biobased chemicals
Port of Rotterdam foresees a great future for biofuels, bioenergy and biobased chemicals. Rotterdam consists of more than 45 chemical companies, 5 oil refineries and several power plants. The port and it’s hinterland form a world-class (petro)chemical cluster. The port also houses 10 production companies using renewables as their feedstock.
