Yemen’s Houthi group announced on Thursday that it launched two joint military operations with the Iraqi Islamic Resistance against ships at Israel’s Haifa port.
According to Reuters, the first operation targeted two ships carrying military equipment, while the second targeted a ship that violated the ban on entry to the port, according to Houthi military spokesperson Yahya Saree.
Meanwhile, in the last few days, U.S. Central Command (USCENTCOM) forces successfully destroyed eight Houthi uncrewed aerial systems (UAS) and two Houthi uncrewed surface vessels (USV) launched from Houthi-controlled areas of Yemen over the Red Sea. Separately, a coalition ship engaged and destroyed one UAS from the same region.
