Fratelli Cosulich Group has placed an order for a 7,999 dwt IMO2 chemical bunkering tanker at Taizhou Maple Leaf Shipbuilding Co., Ltd.
This newbuild vessel is designed to carry fuel oil, biofuels up to B100, and methanol. The delivery of this methanol-ready vessel is scheduled for Q4 2026. According to the company, with this latest order, the total number of methanol-ready barges in their fleet will increase to four.
To remind, in July 2024, Fratelli Cosulich Group had announced another order for two 7,999 dwt IMO2 chemical bunkering tankers from Taizhou Maple Leaf Shipbuilding Co., Ltd.
