According to information, the incident took place as some styrofoam boxes and various other items caught fire in an open area, thus causing a blaze to spread to nearby trees near the West Kowloon Refuse Transfer Station on Hing Wah Street West. on March 10.
After the fire broke out, the fire brigade and one ambulance were deployed and the fire was contained without any victims or major damage, according to local media.
