Mette Asmussen

Mette Asmussen is the Lead for Maritime Sector Initiatives at the World Economic Forum covering industry decarbonization for the shipping sector as part of the Center for Nature and Climate. She has previously worked in the maritime sector five years in A.P. Moller Maersk and has experience from the public sector through roles in the Danish Ministry for Business in Denmark where she covered International Affairs with focus on EU and as Maritime Advisor for the Danish Foreign Affairs covering North America based at the Danish Embassy in Washington, D.C. She holds a master in Economics from the University of Southern Denmark.
