Wuxi Saisiyi Electric Technology Co. will build the “Yangtze River Three Gorges 1”. An electric cruise ship, that is poised to become the world’s largest of its kind.
The ship will be launched in July and start operations in November of 2021, on popular tourist routes.
The ship will have the largest size and passenger capacity for an electric vesssel, while its battery capacity will be roughly 7.5 MWh, supplied by CATL.
According to CATL, there will be two charging options for full flexibility. The charging time was not revealed
